Safekeeper automatically protects users from offensive websites. We have identified and blocked more than 30 million suspicious websites and dozens of threat categories. So, whenever your family members go online, they are protected from pornography, hate, drugs, gambling and other internet threats.

Safekeeper blocks ‘key phrases’ that trigger our blocking filters. Then, our human assessment team adds common sense judgment (i.e. blocks the word “breast”, but allowing “breast cancer”). Our assessment team updates the KidSafe Blocker 24 hours a day.

When Safekeeper is installed, the filter is automatically set to “ON”, blocking all potentially offensive websites. However, it can be customized for each family member, allowing you to control their access to specific categories and websites. You decide what is appropriate (or inappropriate) for each user.

Safekeeper lets users know if sex offenders live in their neighborhood. Just enter your street address and a map will appear, showing the exact location of registered sex offenders living within a 5 mile radius. Clicking on a colored dot (as shown) reveals the offenders name, photo and address.

Also, Safekeeper will immediately send free e-mail alerts when sex offenders move into their neighborhood.

Safekeeper users automatically receive a free, one-year subscription to Family Watchdog, the recognized leader in tracking registered sex offenders. Their information is provided by the U.S. Department of Justice and databases for all 50 states.

With Safekeeper, parents can control how – and when - each family member uses the computer. Safekeeper features several time grids (as shown). Individual time settings for each user allows adults to decide exactly when kids can use the computer, go online and use Instant Messenger. Once that time limit has been reached, Safekeeper, ends their session and ensures that the user cannot regain access.
